STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — A Spotsylvania County man was arrested Thursday night after allegedly fleeing from a traffic stop attempt, striking four vehicles and causing minor injuries.

At 8:13 p.m. February 12, 2026, a Stafford County Sheriff’s Office deputy was stopped in a left-turn lane on southbound Warrenton Road at Cambridge Street behind a white Mitsubishi Outlander.
The driver abruptly changed lanes and continued through the intersection onto Butler Road.
The deputy attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver initiated a pursuit
During the chase, the vehicle struck four other vehicles, causing minor injuries.
The driver then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot before being apprehended.
Authorities said evidence recovered from the vehicle indicated marijuana use, which the driver later admitted.
The driver was identified as Isaiah Todd Lewis, 25.
He was charged with felony eluding, driving under the influence of drugs, four counts of hit-and-run, driving on a revoked license, expired registration and failure to have a state inspection.
Lewis was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
