RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia State Police seized more than $1 million worth of drugs during interdiction efforts Sept. 16-22, including heroin, cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine.
Seizures included:
- 8.8 pounds of heroin
- 6.6 pounds of cocaine
- 58 pounds of marijuana
- 11.5 ounces of methamphetamine
- 4.3 pounds of THC consumables
State police estimated the drugs had a “denied revenue value” of $1,021,658.
Authorities also recovered one firearm valued at $500 and $900 in cash during drug investigations.
The figures include seizures by Virginia State Police, state and federal task forces, and cases in which state police assisted other agencies.
