ALDIE, Va. — A 60-year-old man is accused of fatally shooting a woman at a Loudoun County home before fleeing to Pennsylvania, where he was arrested hours later.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around 12:10 p.m. Sept. 22 to a home in the 24000 block of Quimby Oaks Place, where they found 54-year-old Lisa Bradford dead.
Authorities allege Roger Bradford, 60, shot Bradford and fled the area, prompting a search that extended through Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania State Police arrested Roger Bradford in Bedford about three hours later.
He is charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and is awaiting extradition to Virginia.
