
KING WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Virginia State Police (VSP) are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Route 30 in King William County.
The crash was reported at approximately 6:29 a.m. Oct. 28 in the 1300 block of King William Road.
VSP said a Honda Civic traveling northbound crossed the centerline and struck a Hyundai Tucson head-on.
The driver of the Civic, identified as Jerean Rogers, 26, was partially ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Rogers was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the Tucson sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
