
RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia State Police seized more than $2.6 million worth of illegal drugs during enforcement operations conducted across the commonwealth from Aug. 19 through Aug. 25.
The operations involved state police, state and federal task forces, local law-enforcement agencies and other federal partners.
According to state police, the seizures included:
- 17.2 pounds of cocaine
- 58.9 pounds of marijuana
- 5.7 pounds of methamphetamine
- 14.9 pounds of psilocybin
- 9.6 ounces of fentanyl
- 66.6 pounds of THC consumable products
State police estimated the seized drugs represented approximately $2.61 million in revenue denied to illegal drug operations.
The agency did not provide information about arrests, charges or where the seizures occurred.
