
WARREN COUNTY, Va. — A garage fire prompted a multi-county response Monday afternoon on the western side of Warren County, officials said.
On December 8, 2025, Warren County Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched at about 4:20 p.m. to the 1200 block of Long Meadow Road for a reported garage fire.
Due to the rural location of the incident, mutual aid was requested from Frederick and Shenandoah Counties.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire conditions throughout much of the structure, with flames threatening a nearby barn.
Crews initiated fire suppression efforts and brought the fire under control within about one hour.
Firefighters remained on scene for several additional hours conducting overhaul operations.
The fire was contained to the garage, and no injuries were reported.

The Warren County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire’s cause.
