
STAFFORD, Va. — A local man was arrested after allegedly fleeing the scene of a three-vehicle crash while intoxicated.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the incident occurred September 27, 2025.
At about 11:47 a.m., SCSO deputies responded to a crash involving three vehicles at Garrisonville Road and Dunn Drive. While en route, they were informed that the at-fault driver had fled on foot.
Witnesses provided a detailed description of the suspect, including that his shirt was on both inside out and backward.
Deputies began searching the area and soon found a man matching the description asleep in the parking lot of Children of America, located at 75 Dunn Drive. Deputies said the man showed clear signs of intoxication.
Witnesses confirmed he was the driver who fled the scene, and he reportedly admitted the crash was “my fault” and told deputies he had consumed two beers earlier that morning.
The suspect, Jexzon Ramos Pineda, 30, of Stafford, was charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content above .20, felony hit and run, and driving without a license.
He was taken to Rappahannock Regional Jail and held without bond.
