ORANGE COUNTY, Va. — Virginia State Police (VSP) are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that killed a Unionville teen on Sunday.
According the VSP, the incident occurred June 8, 2025.
At 10:08 a.m., a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling north on Pine Stake Road (Route 621) when it ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the roadway, and collided with a tree before overturning.
The driver, Fabian A. Lopez, 18, died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
