STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — A 36-year-old man was arrested on driving under the influence charges after deputies found a vehicle in a ditch.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputies responded to the 200 block of Brooke Road for a single-vehicle crash on February 17, 2026.
At 2:46 a.m., the vehicle was found off the roadway in a ditch near a retention pond.
The driver was identified as Leslie Tyrone Rickmon of Stafford.
Rickmon declined to perform field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. He also refused to submit to a breath test.
Rickmon was charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a breath test and reckless driving.
He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail.
