STAUNTON, Va. — Two executives of a now-defunct company pled not guilty to state charges accusing them of defrauding the brother of the Parkland school shooter.
Michael Donovan, the company’s former chief executive officer, and Richard Moore, its former executive vice president, entered the pleas during a hearing in Staunton.
Prosecutors allege the men improperly obtained $426,000 in connection with services provided by the Verona-based company, which offered bond and related services to immigrants held in federal detention.
Both men deny the allegations. The case remains pending in state court.
