
SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. — Deputies are investigating a overnight burglary at a local pawn shop where multiple firearms were stolen.
According to a media release from the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the incident occurred in the early-morning hours of September 15, 2025.
At approximately 3:07 a.m., deputies responded to an alarm at Pawn King, located at 4401 Plank Road.
When they arrived, officers found that a vehicle had been driven into the storefront, forcing entry.
The vehicle, a 2013 Hyundai with Maryland tags, was later confirmed stolen out of Maryland.
Although suspects were gone when deputies searched the business, video surveillance showed at least four masked individuals entering the shop and stealing an undisclosed number of weapons.
The burglary took less than a minute from entry to exit.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and collecting evidence as the investigation remains ongoing.
