
AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. — Emergency crews responded to a crash with entrapment evening after a vehicle overturned at the intersection of Jefferson Highway and Woodrow Wilson Avenue.
The Augusta County Emergency Communications Center dispatched multiple units just after 8 p.m. on September 5.

Battalion Chief 10 arrived to find a passenger vehicle on its side with the driver trapped inside.
Fire and rescue crews from Company 11, Company 10, Rescue 1101, and the ACFR EMS supervisor stabilized the vehicle and extricated the driver.

The driver sustained minor injuries and declined further medical care or transport, according to Augusta County Fire-Rescue.
