
SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. — Virginia State Police (VSP) are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist on Saturday.
According to a media release from VSP Sergeant Brent W. Coffey, the incident occurred May 24, 2025.
At 7:15 p.m., a 2001 Honda motorcycle was traveling north on I-95 at a high rate of speed when it attempted to go between a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado in the middle lane and a 2014 Buick Enclave in the left lane.
Near the 120-mile-marker, the motorcycle collided with the Chevrolet, and the impact caused the motorcycle rider to be thrown into the Buick.
The motorcyclist, Antoine Lamonta Hall, 49, of Windsor, Conn., suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Spotsylvania Regional Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 47-year-old male from Port Charlotte, Florida, and an adult passenger were not injured in the crash.
The driver of the Buick, a 54-year-old male from Cortland, NY, and an adult passenger were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
