ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. — A 21-year-old man has been charged after a shooting left one person injured,
Officers with the Albemarle County Police Department were dispatched at about 1:10 a.m. February 7, 2026, to the 3400 block of Berkmar Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located multiple shell casings.
Police said one gunshot victim transported themselves to UVA Health with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. No other injuries were reported.
Daquan J. Ravenel of Charlottesville was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and reckless handling of a firearm.
