
CULPEPER COUNTY, Va. — Authorities are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the identification and prosecution of the driver of a truck that struck an ambulance and fled the scene.
The crash occurred February 3, 2026 at approximately 6:36 p.m. near the intersection of Rixeyville Road and Waterford Road.

The Little Fork Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company ambulance was responding to an emergency call when it was struck by a truck.
According to officials, the truck stopped briefly after the collision but then fled west on Waterford Road.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 or F-550 crew cab with a black flatbed stake body and swinging rear gates.

The stake body may have had wood or steel sidewalls, black in color.
Authorities said the truck is expected to have damage on the driver’s side, including damage to the lower portion of the driver’s side mirror.
