
RICHMOND, Va. — From October 8–14, 2025, the Virginia State Police, working in coordination with federal and local partners, reported major criminal interdictions across the Commonwealth.
The multi-agency efforts resulted in the recovery of firearms, significant narcotics seizures, cash confiscations, and active investigations into multiple crimes.
Firearms Recovery
Troopers recovered two firearms during the week, with an estimated total value of $1,000.
Narcotics Seizures
Authorities seized 63.3 pounds of narcotics, denying an estimated $495,822 in illicit revenue.
Breakdown of substances recovered:
- Cocaine: 1.1 pounds
- Crack cocaine: 1.4 ounces
- Marijuana: 55.6 pounds
- Heroin: 10.2 ounces
- Methamphetamine: 5 pounds
- Fentanyl: 13.3 ounces
- THC vapes: 642 units
Gaming Enforcement
State police received seven new gaming-related tips, bringing the total number of gaming complaints to 1,905.
Human Trafficking Investigations
Investigators received 16 new human trafficking tips, for a total of 1,284 to date.
Statewide efforts included 216 cases under investigation, 3,398 individual investigative activities, and 75 victims identified and offered services.
