
RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia State Police, working with federal and local partners, reported major criminal interdictions across the Commonwealth between September 3 and September 9, 2025.
The statewide enforcement effort resulted in the recovery of firearms, narcotics, and U.S. currency, as well as progress in gaming enforcement and human trafficking investigations.
Firearms Recovery
15 firearms were seized, valued at approximately $7,500.
Narcotics Seizures
A total of 38.1 pounds of narcotics and 203 controlled substance pills were confiscated.
Authorities estimated the denied revenue from the seizures at $1,496,001.
Breakdown included:
Cocaine: 33.6 pounds
Crack Cocaine: 1.3 ounces
Methamphetamine: 1 pound
Marijuana: 2.3 pounds
Fentanyl: 1 pound
Fentanyl pills: 100
Percocet pills: 103
Investigators also seized $34,364 in cash.
Gaming Enforcement
Authorities received 34 new gaming-related tips, bringing the total to 1,849 to date.
Human Trafficking Investigations
12 new human trafficking tips were reported (1,209 total to date).
219 cases are under investigation or have been investigated.
3,230 investigative activities have been carried out.
70 victims have been identified and offered services.
Virginia State Police emphasized that the results highlight the value of coordinated enforcement in disrupting criminal activity and providing critical support to victims across Virginia.
