
RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia State Police (VSP), working alongside federal and local partners, carried out a series of criminal interdiction operations across the Commonwealth.
Between August 28 and September 2, 2025, the Virginia State Police, working with federal and local partners, recovered one firearm valued at $500, seized 338.4 pounds of narcotics and 23 pills with an estimated value of $2,039,722, and confiscated $19,967 in U.S. currency.
The narcotics included 4.5 pounds of cocaine, 20 pounds of methamphetamine, 312.4 pounds of marijuana, 8 ounces of fentanyl, 23 fentanyl pills, 16 ounces of psilocybin, and 2,000 THC vapes.
During the same period, authorities received 15 new gaming-related tips, bringing the total to 1,815, and 23 new human trafficking tips, bringing that total to 1,197.
Investigators have conducted 218 human trafficking cases or ongoing investigations, carried out 3,220 investigative actions, and identified 69 victims who were offered services.
