AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. — Multiple fire and rescue agencies responded to a structure fire on Howardsville Turnpike.
On September 4, 2025, crews arrived to find flames and smoke showing from the eaves of the home.
Firefighters worked together to bring the blaze under control.
Crews from Stuarts Draft Volunteer Fire Company, Wilson Volunteer Fire Company, Company 11, Company 10, Riverheads Volunteer Fire Department, and Battalion Chief 12 joined the response. Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad, Rehab 1 from New Hope Volunteer Fire Department, an Augusta County Fire-Rescue EMS supervisor, and the regional Tanker Taskforce also assisted.
Augusta County Fire-Rescue reported that no additional details were immediately available.
