
FRONT ROYAL, Va. — A fight on Virginia Avenue ended in a stabbing Friday evening, leaving one man hospitalized and another facing felony charges.
According to a media release frim the Front Royal Police Department (FRPD), the incident occurred August 29, 2025.
At approximately 7:00 p.m., FRPD officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Virginia Avenue for a report of two men fighting outside.
While en route, dispatchers advised that one of the individuals had been stabbed.
Responding officers found the victim suffering from a stab wound under his left arm.
Officers immediately rendered medical aid. The victim was able to identify the infividual who stabbed him. The individual was still in the immediate area.
The suspect, Jordan James Hall, was detained at the scene.
Following an investigation, Hall, 21, was charged with Aggravated Malicious Wounding (§18.2-51.2).
Paramedics from Warren County Fire and Rescue treated the victim on on-scene before transporting him to Warren Memorial Hospital. He was later transferred to Winchester Medical Center for further treatment.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division responded to process the scene and continue the follow-up investigation.
